New Biz....

Hello all!! Michael and I have started a new business venture where we focus on children's portraits. The name of our new company is Photo's Of My Kids (see link below). We are really excited about it!! =)

HELP.... Acrylic Paint Boo Boo

So... I should have been finished with this painting and I got a bit carried away with splatter paint. Now I hate it! I loved it before... but now there is dried acrylic paint making me HATE it!! I could just gesso over the whole section and start fresh; but I am concerned that the texture will still be too visible! Do you know of any way to remove dried acrylic gobbs of paint? I have thought about scraping it or sanding it or pouring turpentine or something like that on it.... I don't want to ruin this painting; but I don't know what to do!!! PLEASE HELP!!!
